IDP's Thermal Division has over 30 years of heatsink expertise in design and fabrication. We are able to manufacture folded fin, bonded fin, skived, forged, stamped, fin pack, and pin fin heatsinks per customer requirements. Between aluminum and copper folded fin, we are able to create units that thermally outperform standard extrusions and shapes available and can provide fin thickness' between .005" to .010". All of our materials are ROHS compliant and we can bond/glue all units right here in house. We pride ourselves in helping our customers from design to production.

Aside from stamping and forming, IDP can also laser cut your product. IDP can assemble and install hardware as well as provide professional finishing to your product including paint, powder coat, anodize, silk-screening and part marking.
Some of the materials IDP works with on a daily basis are (but are not limited to): Aluminum, 303/304 and 17-4/18-8 Stainless, Copper, Brass, Peak, PVC, Nylon, Delrin, G10, ABS, Invar, and Kovar. IDP also specializes in custom shapes and extrusions. IDP has well over 30 years of experience in the design of custom shapes and knows how to work with them unlike other shops. IDP has the experience to tweak-in and account for added material to make sure your product comes out correct to print every time.
IDP hosts multiple CNC milling machines with travels up to 40” x 26” x 25” along with multiple CNC lathe machines with travels up to 10.3” x 20” turning capacities. IDP is adept with 5 axis EDM Wire and Sinker technology. We are also affluent in aluminum and steel resistance welding as well as MIG/TIG welding. Some of the machines we use include:
